What is your opinion on the performance of the Infratech?
I notice I don't have to wear my Ray-Ban unless it is very bright outside
after installing the V-Kool.
But the downside is, you could not use the smart tag and ERP tag from
inside the car. You have to wind down the window and flash the tags
outside the car in order for the toll bar to lift up. That is OK on the
Malaysian toll highway, you want to wind down your window and flash your
ERP tag everytime you pass by an ERP gantry in Singapore? So the leceh
part is you have to cut a small window on the v-kool tint in order for the
detectors to detect you device.
Have anybody tried out Huper Optik?

How r u. I spoke to you a few month back when I was looking for a T5.
Huper Optik is in the same price category as V-kool and I was told the
performance is on par but never really experience it before. It is not as
popular as the V-kool.

TAG and most of the other tags. No need to wind down and wave the tag
thingy wildly when you approach the toll plaza.
Orginally my 850T5 came with v-kool all round - i can say just one thing:
it is good
the v-kool started peeling up at the front driver side, so i switched to
infratec - immediatly you can feel the difference. downside of it is now
alot hotter compared to when i had the v-kool but lots cooler than not
having any tint at all. and yes you need your ray bans with the infratec.
but the upside of it is, the smart tag now works without any wild waving at
the toll plaza reader with the windows down.
has anyone tried out gold dust? it is a gold coloured tint. i have got
different views on it, while one shop was promoting it, another was putting
it down. frankly i like it just because it is gold in colour. the yellow
tint is suppose to improve night vision capability. when at night the
lights from oncoming cars look like lights and not a blob of starry looking
light.
Allows you tell if there is a freight train coming straight at you or not.
only info i don't have is - does it keep out the heat during the day or
makes the car hotter?

sides. performance wise in terms of heat rejection for huper optik is very
good, better than gold dust. my colleague car uses v-kool and i personally
cannot feel the diff between v-kool and huper optik.
however, the best part of huper optik is the "not so reflective"
characteristic of the film. i am very particular on this as the
reflectiveness of the film affects my road vision. huper optik is ceramic
based hence it is not so reflective compared to v-kool which is metal
based (same as gold dust)
happy shopping!

mini market survey. It showed that for the same car, vkool is abt rm200
more than huper optik. i clearly remember it is only a minimal price
difference.
look at the installed film samples at a certain angle (try to simulate
windscreen or side windows). you be surprised that a more expensive film
may not be better than huper in terms of reflection. to me, i hate to see
my hand reflection.
try llumar from usa, it is quite pricey, close to huper optik and vkool

impressive. they install a few spotlight overhead n glass with flim tint
on one side n kb on the other half,u just walk through n immediately u'll
feel the differance but forgot to ask them the quality of flim used if
they use those RM300 for the whole car type sure will win hands down
Price 4 the whole car(940) is quite resonable at RM2200 but 4 the front
windscreen is rather high @ RM850
