According to Volvo international website the 2007 model gets MP3/WMA
upgrades as well! That is a big bonus! Wonder if the Boleh-land version
will get that too. Anyone knows if the previous model could be upgraded
with this feature?

Good to hear that you still enjoy your car very much. FYI. I just place my
deposit on a 2nd-hand unit (2005 model). I agree the Sports kit makes it
super delicious. The one I'll be getting is red & comes with the Sports
package.

all MY07 models comes with new version of ICM that can play mp3/wma
files.. including malaysian market...

and the previous MY06 and below couldnt be upgraded..

I got it @ 140k. Not to say that I've negotiated for the best offer in
town. But the car had very low mileage and comes with the full sports
package which looks utterly desirable in red.

BTW. I read its service manual still has another year of warranty left.
Does anyone knows if I'm allowed to make warranty claims as the 2nd owner?

i think shouldn't be any problem..once got the car..rammed it kaw kaw
until u see any problem to change..otherwise the warranty doesn't
work..heehee..

Yup. Got it direct from owner, but he went through an agent to help him
find potential buyers.

if the car is in good condition then rm140k for a 2005 s40 with sport kit
is really a very good buy

Thanks all. Now I've no regrets getting this car. Hopefully I can collect
the car in another week's time.

S40 wasn't my first choice. I was actually eyeing a Beemer 3-series. But at
140k, I will be looking at least a car that is >3-4 years old. So when I
found out about the S40 and seeing it in flesh-n-blood, I was swayed by it.
