Tie rods should be any problem but the ball joint could come with the arm
(the second one I'm not sure for the 940 but 850 sure). Most shops that
work on Volvos are definitely able to help you. After that, a visit to
the tyre shop for alignment checking is necessary.

Would you please to give me a complete address ?

Do you remember the cost when you did yours ?

Thank much.

The 940 ball joint seems to be an independent unit where you can just
remove and change. The 850 ball joint comes with the lower control arm, so
it's a set. Therefore the 940's will be much cheaper.

vol940,

940 ball joint definitely independent, TRW brand cost +/-RM80/pair. 15
minutes to change. even workshop bawah pokok could do easily. no need NSS,
FA or SM.

the tie rod end pun sama, +/-RM80/pair. but need to do alignments to ur
wheels.

sure, the 940's much cheaper than 850.Big Smile

vol940,

I could not remember the address off hand, you can get the complete
address at www.vocm.com.my

If you're coming from Phileo Damansara towards Taman Tun, just before
Taman Tun Market, there's one Caltex station on your left. PA is next to
that station.

As for pricing, I could not remember as well as I did other
repair/replacement at the same time (steering column, all bushes etc etc)

Just get an estimate from them first. The price might be on slightly
higher side but I'm happy with their workmanship.
