210 for the Turbo version is kacang putih. But the NA
version is not going to go anywhere near that apeed in
stock conditionn. If you leave the gearbox in D,it will
reach 210 easily but play with the O/D(this is not
advisable on a regular basis for obvious reasons) and
it will reach 210 quite a bit more quickly
Same goes for the Turbo manual. My friend bought a 740T
manual 3 months ago and we used a digital wrist watch
to time it to 165km/h(to close the gap for any speedo
error) and it took us an average of 23 seconds with a
best of 22 seconds. But we had to use rather harsh
tactics(the clutch was due for a change so we decided
to help it on its way out )I imagine that with a
new clutch set and with cooler conditions( it was 4.30
in the afternoon),the car should easily shed a couple
of seconds from that time we recorded.

B23? how reasonable is reasonable? heheheh what's the
condition?
i don't own a volvo... but my dad has owned... errm...
1967 122S X 3
the first one was sold off in the early 70's and the
other two... well technically still own it... but one
was towed to the MPPP yard for being parked outside by
the roadside... not working... and the other one went
to a mechanic's workshop in pg and it disappeared from
his workshop one fine day... that one had a jammed
piston cause the engine block rusted...
and finally the one that he still owns is..
1980 244GL
problematic one at that...
my uncle used to own a 1983 240GL which was in
excellent condition... and now owns a 850 (dunno what
year lar...)
here's the problem with the 850... anyone of u
experience the 850 gear knob disintegrating? my uncle
is one who cares for his car as much as his wife...
(if not more... hehehe) so where can he find a
replacement for it? other than fed auto...
my dad's in OUG
condition?

How reasonable?How does below RM1k sound?Overhauled
and way below 10k on the odometer. The only thing not
included is the alternator.Other bits - carb,manifold
etc included.Reasonable enough? Hell, you can
have the whole car if you want.Damaged in an
accident, hence reason for sale of engine..
