The good shops should be able to do it. In Penang, there's this YAN KEE
(KL guy) whose family members are into this windscreen busisness only. The
labour is quite expensive but the job is done fast and effeciently. The
back of his shop has a large variety of windows, windscreens, rubber
lining, etc, ex-stock and his workers are more than 10 for such a small
front shoplot (can put 3/4 cars at a time only).

Why not call your insurance agent, when my windscreen shattered ,
my insurance agent directed me their fren's workshop, so I did not have to
do any paperwork since the workshop and the insurance agent did
everything.

LOC,

I just changed my w/s for second time this year last 2 months.

It's best that you call your insurance company and ask them to recommend
their preferred workshop within their panel. It's easier because you don't
have to fork out money as the workshop will claim directly with the
insurance company.

Since you're a Verified VOCM members, you may call me for free advise.

Glock, didn't know they got rubber/metal lining!! the last i changed, the
mechanic did not remove carefully and broke the lining.... went with SA6
to jln.ipoh parts shop but was advice, only original comes with lining,
the local MSG does not come with lining.... nor do they sell loose in
volvo parts shop. Ended up with original windscreen instead.
