scenic's right. If you get a cheap Volvo, chances are that you'll have to
spend a bit to bring it up to specs again. The choice is yours really.
Spend less to buy the car & spend more to do it up or pay more for a
better car & spend less on repairs. Your call.

Rimzadera said he was going to sell his 240 Manual when he got the 940.
Don't know whether he still has it. He was asking about 3~4k and the car
not driven always, garage parked, etc. I'm SMS-ing him now. Will post
later.

Scenic,
You're right. I never own a Volvo before but I drove some of the model
before. I fall in love with 240 SE/GLT. When I saw a beautiful 240 pass by
it make me more anger to get the car... which in reality actually can't
affort it!
Looking at the market price now, you can get GLT/SE just as low as RM10k.
That's what make me think Volvo is the bst choice if I want to go for
conti car, as Mers 200 already cost RM15k for '86 model!
But I guess the time haven't come for me to own a Volvo , so I'll
just stick to my KE20.
Thanks guy for all your advise and opinion. I really appreciate it. really
feel welcome in 'Volvo family!'. Bye.

Mell74,
I want to have conti car also like you, but not because i can't afford
the merc but because, i love to have a volvo.
After try the 940 i would like to have 240, it feel more classic.
Thanks
