My 940 auto gear knob and stereng already cracked. A workshop asking for
240 for the gear knob and 450 for the stereng. Dunno whether it is
inclusive of labor. Sakit mata lar to see those cracked things. Any

Thanks, really appreciate your replies.

buzzvic,
Does the one at Hakitrade comes with SRS? Coz mine one is that model.
There's someone mentioned about promotion going on at FA. Any info on this?

ziemann, oops. Didn't know urs was the airbag model. Those don't have the
airbag in the steering. I would think if for airbag model, it's not so
simple to remove and replace. Better to get it done properly - or rewrap
the steering so you don't kacau the original airbag inside the steering.

Ziemann,
Guess it's quite common for 940, with cracked gear knob. Mine too. Did
ask volvo parts shop and was quoted RM205 and they claim this will last
as it is made from diff material from ori one. Has anyone replaced this?
As for me, i just live with that for now.

I had replaced my gear know for RM 210 inclusive of labour + changing the
bulb on the gear selection indicator (original Volvo). My original gear
knob was in such a bad condition that I was worry the lever (where you
prssed to shift down to 2nd gear) might dropped off. So I had no choice.

As for the steering wheel, I planned to leather wrap it but just too lazy
as I have to leave the car for one day. I had been quoted RM 180 - RM 260
for the leather. I just live with it now.

Cheers.
