Just changed A/C Compressor Clutch, Denso - RM 180 (workshop price).

Pin,

Why didn't use second Airmass Sensor - RM 300 at Hakitrade.

BTW, you are still lucky, NSS quoted me RM 2000 for airmass meter (6
months ago), I am a cheap man, so got 2nd from hakitrade.Big Smile

vol9833,

Usually like that, just bolt on the recond or new compressor, just to
speed up the labor time.

Anyway, Airmass Sensor (some call Air Mass Meter - AMM), the device that
measure the quantity of air entering to manifold. This sensor (meter) is
connected to ECU enabling ECU to pump such quantity of petrol and
parameterized by signals from O2 Sensor, ECT Sensor and Engine Load
Sensor and so on.

When your Airmass Sensor dead, Idle not smooth, Lambda Sond light-on, car
will not go when you press the gas pedal for a while, then suddenly
accelerate roughly. Engine running rich (bad FC). When you disconnect the
airmass sensor, Idle get smoother, engine running rough and rich.

That was my experience for my 940.

Yep you are right - from what I understand, when the Airmass sensor fails
it cannot coordinate and match the mix of air with the fuel anymore so
resulting in all these symptoms

BTW what is Hakitrade? I have never heard of it ? Is there a phone number
I can ring to ask ? Sorry I am new at this also

anyway some more recent prices - parts + labour

1. Stabilizer Bush 2pcs - $130 + 50
2. Tie Rod lubrication 1 pc- $70 + 30
3. Flywheel oil seal 1pc - $100 + 190
4. Skim brake 4 discs - $140
5. Oil Cooler hose 2 pcs - $87 +47.50

The most popular Hakitrade amongst us are the ones located near Subang

other I could not remember.

Sorry, I don't have their ctc no. Anybody can help?
