I have both Locktech and Stoplock for my car.
All I can say, Stoplock..that steering lock..cant deter much..the theif can
just cut your steering.

I've been using Locktech for 3 years now, and it has yet to give me any
problem and it is ease of use.
minus the first few times where you forget to unlock the locktech, but my
car needs me to press the brake before engaging to D, hence there wouldn't
be any "accidents" as u mentioned..

The new version of Locktech came with a built-in siren. The siren has a
pair of wires attached to the car's power and key system.

This siren will sound when

1. you try to start the car without unlocking it
2. prying the lock keyhole

I also have the Stoplock which works more as a visual deterrent than
locking.

The new version of Locktech now has the name of Visitlock instead. Visit
is the inventor's Thai name.

Another option would be using Disklok instead, as this unit is lock that
covers the whole steering wheel.

Phantom,

Not sure where you're from and I got my unit from a shop in Butterworth.
Another thing is, the locks are made specifically for each car model. So,
you have to check www.visitlock.com to see if your car model is available
first.

Hi,

Can anyone be kind enough to recommend a good installer [or accessory shop] around PJ, to get my Camry 2002 installed with a LOCHTECH or VISITTECH lock?

TQ

According to my installer, there is no Locktech models for the '02 Camry and none for my '05 CM5 as well.
