I drive a Mercedes Benz C Class which I maintain very well. Its my first
Mercedes and only a few months old. After coming back from work today,
somebody had sabotaged my car.

The Mercedes logo on the back of the boot was missing (pried away). And
if you look below the side mirrors, you will notice an emblem which
reads "Classic", "Elegance" or "Avantgarde" depending on your model.
My "Classic" emblems on both sides were also missing.

Previously when I was driving a Honda Civic, my Honda logo also got
stolen. Happened right in my car porch. Cost me about RM40 to replace it
and that was 10 years ago. I mean what's wrong with these sickos?

The Mercedes emblem is not worth one ringgit, but why do these sickos
want to pry it away from my car? Is it because their eyes get so red when
they see someone else afford something which they can only dream of?

You better break my windshield and steal my SMART Tag. At least I can
understand that its money motivated. But to steal my Mercedes emblems,
you got to be "sakit otak".

And to all these sickos who steal hub caps, car emblems, and other what
nots from cars, I have this to say. "By doing this, you put yourself at
the very bottom layer of society. And as long as you think this way, you
will never, ever be able to own a nice car, or house."

this ia quite common... My air caps everytime got stolen for no reason.
Why they can't buy it themselves? It just cost less than RM10 for 4.

Apparently there is a market for merc chrome tristar logo (front) as I've
seen many got pulled. But surprisingly, this is the first time hearing
boot logo pried away???

Sometime ago, it's not advisable to park a Merc at roadside to prevent
vandalized. Nowaday, a simple Toyota advanza also keyed if you choose a
careful parking lot.

Lotsa sickos around.

understand your frustration. If ppl can steal used shoes and underwares ,
then your merc logo certainly worth more than that. Where is root of all
this problems ? Those "businessmans" who buy and sell these stolen
goods ? Or failed eductional system, side effect of imbalance in
country's development ?

Well...some monkey even stole my AAM logo few years ago. Lots of monkeys
in Malaysia both in jungle and in city. But those in jungle are more well
behaved...
