After my KIA was stollen, i started to do an extensive research of what
works and what not as far as the alarm & immobilizer sysytem and finally i
found a perfect solution to the problem. its a very low tech gadget that
really does the job well. it actually preventing your car from being
started at all. as we all area aware, anyhting that transmit frequency, can
be override.
the solution is a product called RAVELCO. it has been around in the US
market since 1976 and they manage to keep a 0% theft rate. its a life time
warranty on the product. it does not depend on your battery and nothing
electronic about it.
i are in the midle of acquiring the exclusive distributorship for this
product in Malaysia. it will be available in the Malaysian market by mid
June 2004.
we welcome all enquiries. i can be contacted at 012-3516884 or 603-79824929
ext 703 or by e-mail at redzuan@hotmail.com

I understand how it works now.

Pull the cutting point, ajoint into a Ravelco unit, how many points, I
don't see it stated. Join point is still color till the unit itself its
black. Basically work juz like a dongle based immobilizer, where you join
the cutting point together, touch the sensor to de-immob the device.
Simple.

Well, its still wired, a wireless immobilizer will still be a better bet
these days.

Well all the wiring is nicely covered andall connection is done at the
engine part. so if there is anyone out there with an experience in
hotwiring a car is most welcome to test the unit.

the unit is connected to the most critical point of your car that prevent
the car from being started.

Interesting! One question here:

What Ravelco does differently from other brand of immobilizer/car alarm
from starting the car ?
