Questions on tow truck thieves

Yup i agree with you that one "should" install either captor/2 way
alarm/immo's/a good mechanical lock(dislock/locktech)...just to name a few
types of security systems lah.
I personally dun believe in installing an alarm that would just go off and
would do nothing else, because the first thing a theif contemplating to
break into a car would do is to hotwire the alarm.
So according to me, a combination of a good mechanical lock + 2 way
alarm/immo/captor.....should deter the theives from opting for ur car.
Though, there are no alarms/locks which would 100% secure ur car, so the
key is to make ur car as 'unattractive' as possible to the theives.

Yeah Masoom your thinking is absolutely right nowadays alarm go off no
one really cares....
2 Way - Helps the owner know the car is violated by a thrid part
Immo - If car is car jacked or car already broken into, helps deter the
car from being driven off
Captor - Helps locate the car if it goes missing....
Each has its importance....initial , during , after....so if cannot
afford immo or captor possibly can at least try 2 way.
Yeap very true nothing is 100% secure lor....but many fellas like to make
their car's look good so just be extra careful lor...

I read somewhere that it really consumes a lot of battery, espcially if one
uses other features of the alarm. Heard from someone, in a weeks time,
battery sudah habis! true ah ?

I know of an accesories shop owner who's really an expert on car
securities/alarm. She's a middle aged lady but...mannn....she knows so
much and she can talk for hours...sometimes I think she's somekind of a
pro car thief...hahaha . I like to go to her shop coz her service is very
good. She treats customers really good even though some customers don't
buy anything, just looking around. So knowledgeble and willing to share
all this to customers.Anyway her shop is in Seremban.

masoom...I don't exactly remember what she said coz she talks so
much...sometimes it makes me confused. But she showed me some better
systems to reduce car jacking/tow truck thefts. I also remember her
talking about the correct way to park our car so to minimise tow truck
thefts. Must talk to her again about this the next time I go to her shop.
