Hi,
I just got my locktech installed on Saturday, and I am absolutely
disappointed with the (not sure) product or the installation.
The lock is so difficult to use (I have to Pull it REAL HARD, I mean very
very very hard) in order to get it lock. The technician claim that this
is how it is installed and it HAS to be like this....
The problem that I have now is that it is so hard for me to operate the
lock, (I am 176cm, 72kg, and I considerate myself very strong), how about
my wife who use the car once in a while too.....
Any advice??
Best regards,

NTspeed,
I think some thing wrong with ur installation. Or the technician skill
was very bad ? My wife with 46kg, also not problem to pull it (lock it). I
have been using it for nearly 10 months.

Yeah, I agree with you, because I don't think any lady could have
operated the lock at all (unless she is a "Godzilla", if you know what I
mean).
I have the lock installed in the OFFICAL OUTLET appointed/advised by
Locktech. And I am so ###### piss-off because the technician refuse to
acknowledge it is his mistake.
When you apply the lock, do you just pull it up until the lock "click",
so, you have to pull it fast to have it fasten??
Best regards,
* Excuse the language, please!!!

NTspeed, Keanhau,
Where u guys install it?
NTspeed,
I saw in some where that it will be easier to pull is it is being pulled
downwards while being pulled to lock.

Hi Ceteh,
I got it installed in the official locktech agent in JB, their name is
Mega ChXXpian (not sure if I should mention the name).
I posted another article in Honda Corner. And I got the "Pull downward"
too. I tried and fail..
Anyway, I will listen to LockTech and bring the CRV there for adjustment
tomorrow. Hopefully, thing will work out well...
Will keep those interested posted on this..

sorry guys for late reply. outta country and just returned.
about your CRV case, my boss has explained to NTSPEED thouroughly that we
had both old CRV and CRV IVTEC, and both installed without any mentioned
troubles. pls consult with the agent/installer for a final adjustment of
the Locktech position.
