Lexus Harrier lost prevention?

Just bought a used Lexus Harrier 2.4. Heard that many units of this model
of car been stolen everyday in Malaysia. Can anybody pls suggest a good
way to prevent it get stolen. Many thanks!

That's only one option, fix a GPS tracking system aka cobra-connect or
something. or else just leave it as usuall, afterall, insuran covered what.

Install CAPTOR.
CAPTOR will be alerted if the alarm triggers.
CAPTOR claims to be able to detect the whereabout of the car if stolen, and
switch off the engine once it is at standstill (if driven).

but nowdays ppl hijack. does it really work?
I been install GPS b4, when hijack by two indian, they slashed n hurt me 1st, later took the car. When hurt by them, directly send to hospital. dun even have the time to check or alert my GPS system. After few days i check the GPS oredi took out fr the car. depend on luck....

oh geez, sorry to hear what happened to you..
anyway, i thought there should be a panic button right, and that will alert the GPS co.? yes/no?

yes... do hv panic button. but at when it really happen, not all ppl can be so calm thinking of pressing tat panic button... hard to say.. if really happen cant think so much... can say dun hv the much time to press...

There are these wireless CCTV where you can set certain spot if there is motion it will trigger an alarm.
The cost is less than MYR 2K per set. and each wireless eye cost less than MYR 1K you can put them on your notebook when you sleep.
