Chemical is not necessarily better. with chemical, you glass still
smooth. But with sandblast, it much tidy and neat and precise, but it's a
bit rough if you feel it with your finger. That's all.

With chemical, sometimes the letter is not visible enough or not
constant. Some part are visible, some part of the letter may not be
visible. You can see this kind of thing everywhere. When you're on road,
try lookout for this so call VIN etching. If some part are invisible, you
can guess, it is a bad job using a chemical solution. Most shop prefer
this method because it's easy maa.. So avoid losing customers, they may
claim sandblasting is not as good.

Some people prefer chemical. Some people prefer sand blasting. It's not
about one thing is better than the other.

Yes, they do. as they need to change all marked windshield after they stole
it.(they dont steal the car and kept using the original number while on the
run...) It would cost them a lot to change all the glasses. Make your
etching prominently displayed, preferably on all four windows and windshield

Chemical can do great job also. The way of applying it on the glass need
special attention as well. Mine done with chemical for 6 yrs already no
fading with even coloured, and striking.

I think, all kind of protections has no purpose to you
-car alarm.. thief can still get in without trigger the alarm
-car steering lock - this can cut the steering
-car gps - no coverage in underground car park
-car immobilizer - many cars with immobilizer has been stolen already..
-sandblast - as you said above

Oh.. wait.. maybe even car has no purpose to you.. Why buy car when it
can get stolen... right?

:p

Yo everybody! Help me please. My car has sandblasting (chemically applied).
How can I remove it? Because I wanna change my plate number (planning to
buy a new bike and put the new numbers to my car).

Hello MatNa,
You cant do anything coz the moment you done sand blast to your
mirror/glass, it will be PERMANENT. The only way...have 2 option:-
1. Overite (means blast all the old number to make it square/rectangle)
and blast new number beside it.
2. Replace all the glasses..
