I also had this type of immobilizer.
The problem with the card is that,it won't
work if you put the card in your wallet, and
at the same time, you have other tag card
in your wallet like touch & go, or office
tag card etc.

It's quiet a hassle to me because I keep my office
tag and the cheetah card inside my wallet, and
everytime I enter my car, I have to flip open
my wallet (so that both cards are not parallel
with each other) and the cheetah card can be detected.

However, the last time I checked, cheetah had
produced a new version of this security system but
still using the same name, cheetah immobilizer+
anti-hijack. Maybe, the problem has been solved..
Have you checked yours? I'd like to know about this.
