Try check out www.caralarm.com.my. Email them for further details, they
are very very helpful based on my own personal experience...write to a guy
named Richard Liew...a nice guy...he should be able to assist you. Hope

Talked to one guy, The card must be very near the unit. If the card is
with the person siting at the rear or front passenger side , system
cannot read. But they have a chip that have wider range but cost
120.00 more I think and its battery powered. Not impressed by the
system.

fooyc,
for hijack case well IMMO doest not work great means failed.
but in case of park-and-lost . IMMO is superb.

for hijack u need anti-hijack features. which required u to key-in code
thru input buttons. but again ..... as for me IMMO will do for time being.

p/s : ialso intalled some secrets gadget into my car. work like anti-
hijack and cost less than rm5 for it. just a simple switch .

The cheetah card immo is widely available in JB. Cost abt RM800 (the last
time I checked). Just go to the popular accs. should help. It cost abt
RM1200 when it was launched.

If you are on a tight budget...the is also a Rm300~400 hijack/immo cutting
off only 1 point...also very popular.

Thing is the installation is most important.

I custom madeup my cars using 'wheels' immo (non hijack immo) at
the 'wheels' factory beside Giant Plentong. That technician is fantastic
and non of his installations are the same.

There is a shop name something "Jumbo" near Jazz and Blue, opposite the
Caltax station; they specialize in immobilizer and anti-hijack devices.
This was where I fitted my OEM immo. Price slightly higher for Cheetah
brandname.

The owner is eccentric, but will explain the reason behind the difference
in prices of the various products to you; and may even demo to you why an
alarm is useless if you ask.

ianual, its aso an anti hijack system, which means, once u open the door
and shut it and depress the brake, it will RESEARCH for the card...and if
ur a guy, u would keep the card in ur wallet, and upon being hijacked, ur
card leaves with u as well. surprisingly i had the system
installed on both my mum`s car and my own, both worked quite different as
for my mum`s car upon opening the door while the engine is running, it will
search for the card, for my case, it will only search for the card again if
i press on the brake pedal..anywayz, that`s how it works for the anti
hijak, it doesn`t only search the card ONCE, but each time u leave ur car
(open and close the door, once u depress the brake, it will look for the
card again). for this option it can be configured as it depends on how u
want it...overall, its a bit of a hassle if ur family members wanna share
to drive ur car and only 2 transponder cards are available, nevertheless, i
reckon its quite a good system as it offers 3 cut off points.cheers!~
