Hi folks,

Was at a dealer the other day, and apparantly Captor has launched their new
package already.... with GPS and RF? Can anybody let me know more about
this, and what the costs are like?

GPS satellite tracking n normal RF tracking - installation $3,500.00 -
Damn expensive Liao! But at least the RM 150.00 a year service
charge remained.

Dealer only knows that its a new GPS/GSM package... doesn't know the
details... for installation, they have to call in people from Captor...
curious if this system really works.....

GPS/GSM package huh! So, it suppose to be an added extra function
which is monitoring via gsm, or exactly by sms. you can sms to check
your car status..

Their GSM got cover international roaming or not? Wat if u drive to
Thailand or Singapore?

I don't think so lah, for RM150 annually don't expect too much.
At least they provide helicopter which can trace the car in remote area.

Not cover Singapore and Thailand area, but do claim got monitoring team
to prevent car being drive/sent out to Thailand/S'pore.
