As per real situation...

Please take good care of your car when park at your resident. A new way or
car robbery at you resident in KL.

A group of motorcycle gang (RXZ) around 10ppl has broke the glass of 1
TOYOTA ESTIMA (latest version) at the early morning around 5.00am and stole
the car navigator/player and some other valuable items in the mpv. They
smashed the front left window and know very well about the model electronic
navigator. The estima was park inside the house garage inside the gate. The
way they do it is very open.. ram their motocycle engine to make noise...
1-2 of them sneak open the gate and smashed the window and stole the
navigator for about 8 minutes. Few other car parked along the main road
also reported got window smashed and the head unit/stereo player lost. The
gang even try to hurt the owner and neighbour who try to shout at them.

So to all and those especially who own TOYOTA ESTIMA, please be careful.

Based on the residents, they notice the incident because of the noise from
the gang motocyles and the alarm warning from the car and cannot do much as
one of the neighbour try to shout out from his house ended with a garbage
bag and bottle through to him. Same thing happend to the owner.

Base on the real info, just a few days ago , the same happended to 1 Estima
when parked nearby football stadium. The similar situation, window broke
and electronic navigator lost.

If you know or meet any of this gang, please report directly to the police
station.

Encountered a gang of motocyclist (ranges from RXZs to kapchais).Estimated
about 20-30 of them riding recklessly along old Airport road heading
towards S.Alam. Its 2.30am that time.
They were all over the road ( all 3lanes). Some speedings, some with their
acrobatic antics, and some were plain hoarding up the fast lane.
Now, a family with 2 kids in the car, what would you do if you are stopped
or blocked by them, and they demand your car?
I have no time to think as I was busy looking at "windows" of opportunity
to blast thru them swiftly. Its such an unnerving experience for me, after
I have heard many tales of such gang terrorizing motorist in KL.

As for the Estima being broken into, call the cops. Get your phone-camera
or whatever digital camera or better still get a video cam on it.
But do it discreetly.
Its best you avoid confrontation as if they are so daring enough to come
into the house compound, they are literally able to do more harm.

Similar case, a Lexus was broken into in front of the house compound.
Owner came out and saw the guy trying to start the car. Owner shouted,
what thief do? He continue to start the car cooly while staring at eye-
wide owner.
Finally, he started the car, and drove off. All happening in a span of 5-6
mins.
Hows that for dare-you-dare-me kinda thing?

Becareful, watchful, alert, and never put valuables in your car. If you
have a old car, parked it outside blocking the gate.
Lights up (although it would be lastik-ed by the culprits), better prevent
than cure....some said?

We should be extra careful and stay in high alertness especially if you
are in big cities, e.g. KL. as our Boys in Blue might still zzzz
or "eating snake" somewhere else.. we have to count on ourselves..

happened to me recently too. smash my crv's co-driver window, ripped out
the console box and unplug the player.

all happened within house porch at 4:30am with lights on and car alarm
sounding. looks like these guys are professional and not afraid to wake up
the owner or neighbours!! total time taken less then 5 mins!!

understand they target honda and toyota which comes with 2-din players.
have heard similar targets in sg buloh, selayang, kepong and bt caves area.

so be careful as it may strike you.

Well, it happened to my car (Mitsubishi Airtrek) last July 2005 inside my
house car porch in the early hours 3-4am in Taman Supreme, Cheras. Those
daring bastards broke my front left passenger windows and stole my
double-din player. About a month later, I believed the same gang broke into
a Toyota Prado and a Proton Satria just outside my house. These guys are
really daring and they always come in big groups of 4-5 motorcycles. I
understand they are back in Cheras where a Honda Stream was broken into in
Tmn Bukit Mewah, Cheras recently in the early hours. I think all victims of
similar cases irrespective of locations should come together and share info
with a view to trap and catch these culprits. These gangs are very daring
and dangerous and it's certainly not advisable to face them directly. I was
told that one of the victim who tried to shout at the thieves found later
that the gang returned and threw a brick into the house hitting the car's
rear windscreen.

APPLY FOR A RIFLE, SMALL CALIBRE WOULD DO, EVEN AIR GUNS CUKUP.

AIM AT THEIR GROIN , OR BETTER, KNEES --THIS WAY U CAN DISABLE THEM & YET
WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT KILLING THEM (BIG PROBLEM THEN!!!),

PROBLEM IS..AFTER THIS U BETTER MOVE OUT OF THAT PLACE .HAHA
