go Giant Plentong JB...a few years back my friend lost his Unser there.
Made the report and the cop said that his car was the 46th Unser stolen in
Giant.

From what I know, these things happen at almost every hypermarkets in
Malaysia. One security guard at Giant Seremban also talk about few cars
being stolen at the hypermarket. Yes...Unser is one of the popular
vehicles to be stolen. One of the thing you can do is to install a
security ignition key to your car. The standard ignition is not good
enough. It cost around RM 200 - 300. Once somebody broke into my car but
didn't get anything coz I install the secure ignition key. Nothing was
stolen from the car so I assume the thief wanted to steal my car. My
mistake coz I parked the car at a secluded place.

i vote for KL vistana hotel
my sis car got stolen at vistana hotel undergrd carpark. next day 3 owner
including my sis reported car lost at the same place. waja, pv6, and
altis.

no where is save...jus remember to lock an extra lock into the car n dun
put any valueble thing inside the car...i lock my car wif 2 extra lock...1
for my steering n 1 for my gear...

IMHO,

Keep the interior clean, as in no visible stuffs that seduce the thiefs.

If you can, detach the cdplayer face plate too.

Lock everything you have.

Park in brighly lit area, no dodgy places.

You should be quite alright.

The advice to NOT leave things in your car in plain sight is nothing new.
All of us have heard it, read about it, talked about it a thousand times.
I think even the police are fed-up of giving out this reminder!

Yet, I find it so strange that many, many people continue do it and end
up having their cars broken into! Just look at the posts in this thread
alone.
