I`ve got a fren working for Lam Soon whose boss has one of those "palm
power" Benz. He told me the smoke it generated could be more than those
diesel powered lorries! But the good thing about it is that when u run out
of palm oil, u can simply pour in some Minyak Cap Helang and be able to
continue running it.

I think crude palm oil costs more per unit volume than petroleum based
diesel fuel which made this bio-diesel project less feasible.

Further on this subject, please have a look at the 'Mixing diesel with
cooking oil' thread which shows a link to this Journey-To-Forever URL. It
can be seen that used cooking oil could be recycled back into bio-diesel
fuel after putting it through some chemical processes. Imagine going over
to McD's or KFC to ask for their used oil so that you can later refuel
your diesel powered vehicle.
