I am in a dilemma of what to choose:

1) 06 manufactured tyres
2) 08 manufactured tyres but have to add RM120 per tyre.

I intend to use the tyres for another 4 years as the car is seldom used.
What's the usable lifespan of tyres??
I heard it is 4 years from date of manufacture.
If this is so, then I can only use the 06 tyres for 2 years only!!!

The tyres I mentioned is the CPC2.

So sifu sifu, brothers and sisters, your advice greatly appreciated.

If the car is seldom use, the tires is not only aged (quality drop) based
on life span or usage but also other factors when it was not spinning.
Maybe humidity, sun, urine (hehe...from dogs)...or cat claw.

I guess is better to get the latest possible...an extra of RM480 for 4yrs
insurance...is ok what. Also you are buying better comfort with younger
tires: durable and flexible.

ice,

Use as new as possible, since you will be keeping for long time.

But because of price issue, change to other tyres loh.... Why still on CPC2?

Try the Hankook V12 Evo...........

Perhaps, you can chose a entry level tyre but with newly manufactured date.
This may cost you cheaper a bit.

Thanx, all bros.
The problem is that I am committed to the CPC2.Blackeye
Finally as advised, I opt for the 08 tyres.
Most likely will replace by next week.
