i am thinking whether to get the PSP or the latest Samsung MP3 that
can display photos...cause I only play games occasionally...and
i prefer strategy games rather than action games...and I am
worry about the long term cost with PSP..need to invest in
additional costly Memory Sticks and original games cost RM160 onwards!

No, I don't plan to sell off the PSP at this moment. Might do it later
when I get bored with it, like I did with the PS2 (sold off that via
M'sian eBay).

You can't play games on the Samsung MP3 player, can ya ?
Buy the PSP...its great fun !!

Keeps me company during long flights (on carriers without IFE) and lonely
nights away from home.

PSP is definety more fun than MP3 player(can listen to music,
view photo&video)....I am thinking to get the new version
around RM800-00(downgraded version is RM1,200)...but the
games are pretty expensive from RM160 onwards...

if it is less than RM50....sure lots of people can buy the originals!

that's the problem isnt it....

things are just so damn expensive.. and yet, the still insist people to
buy originial stuff..

if original games RM99 also, i will buy original.. but stupidly enough,
150-200 is just too high...

not sure about SG, but US games usually costs 39.99 - 59.99 ... "budget"
games would cost 19.99 - 29.99 ...

Latest update, PSP with ver2.50 and ver2.60 firmware can be downgrade to
1.5 already. So i believe the price will coming down liao. Anyway, i`m
still keeping my to play original. Do take note that, the downgrade will
only available for 2.50 and 2.60, not 2.70 and above.

Oh before i forget, if you plan to buy original games just go to
www.play-asia.com, their price is very competitive and way cheaper compare
to here. I bought my from them, a very reliable site.

But PS3 and PSP is a totally different hardware wor? Anyway, expecting at
least RM3K for PS3. Mean while i'm still blasting on N3 on my X360 and
Extreme Ghosts and Goblins on my PSP.
