andrew,

I saw both tyres at Txx Mxxx, and found that S1Evo are harder lah....
They initially came for larger cars only coming in at smallest size of
225/45/R17. Lately seems have small size also.
V12Evo comes from small to large sizes.........
For me, I prefer the V12 directional pattern over the S1 asymmetric pattern.
Only thing is V12 shoulder resembles the Toyo T1-R pattern which I also
don't like...ha! ha!

mubull,

3db a lot of difference meh?...ha! ha!

to me is alot but no problem for u and bro.azbro lah. Again depending on
preference.

Me ..I preferred and quite like the S1 design (looks like yokkkies
V103) ..If they bring 16" then might try.

mubull,

I think they do bring in 16" for the S1Evo now, because they have expanded
their tyre size range. We can go to Txx Mxxx and have a look.

andrew,

No lah! those experts did real test. How can you say I am better?
The S1Evo was first developed for a Sports Car, if not mistaken (one
Ferrari model). Initial smallest size 225/45/R17, but now maybe more sizes.
V12 Evo was develop with many sizes to suit as many user as possible.

Well, TM gave me trade in price of RM286.00 for my old tyres that has
only 4 mm of pattern left.

Like I said earlier, it does get noisy at higher speeds.

For tyres, 4mm is a lot of tread left around half at least.....

hi guys,
just got my v12 a week ago and yesterday i had a good test in
a heavy down pour from tampin to seremban. the tyres were holding quite
well at 110km/hr. when through a few water patch and i can say that it
was equivalent to my last gyf1. dry road condition very good too. mine is
a 205/40/17 series. since it is still new, the noise level is low but
we'll have to wait and see for another 20,000km. ok, drive safe.

lancer,

Since the tyres are new and with maximum thread depth, aquaplaning is not a
problem at 110km/h.
Please season a little more, and then test wet handling/cornering. This is
where it separates the tyre quality.
