Am looking for a new set of tyre - 185/65R14. Priority on comfort and
safety. Then came across the above, realising the tread pattern draws a
lot of similarity, while the prices are RM30 diff! (TZ100 cheaper).
Anyone with experience to share of the 2 types. Also appreciate
recommedation for other better tyres if any. Price RM200/pcs tops.
Thanks,

Hi,
I had an experience using the Firestone TZ100 a couple of years ago.
Basically a comfort biased tyre with some good performance
characteristics. Wet performance is good as aquaplanning level is high.
The only drawback is the treadwear which is quite high as well.
It's very much an underrated tyre especially after the Firestone incident
in the US. Most have not really known of this, but it does share a lot of
technology from their Bridgestone counterpart.
It's an easy to like tyre, if you are looking for a comfort biased tyre
with decent performance.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback.
Hmm, few years back huh? Looking at some info, states it uses the DONUT
thingy as with Bridgestone tyres too. And again, it really has a striking
resembleamce to the GR-50 S&S.
Btw, what's the milage like between change?
