Is there any good SC that can solve the door & dashboard ratteling noise?
The Seri Kembangan SC are reluctant to solve the problem for me since they
have no confidence to open up the door panel and dashboard.

AMD - this kinda sound issue is a major headache to SC. they hate this
thing. They prefer to solve engine, etc. problem.

anyway, i kinda gave up on the SC for the door rattling issue. I'm now
thinking of DIY. the only hard thing to remove from the panel is the black
bracket surrounding the door latch/tweeter. the rest is kacang. i believe
DIY should be able to solve more than sending to SC. the most frustrating
part is when the SC pandu the kereta, apa rattling pun tak dengar....geram

ok... if possible, we need to get the plastic 'opener'...hopefully can
get it / buy it from them.

Else I also heard that we can buy it...but need to cut and shape it...
see if i can get it...wait for my answer...

but bare in mind is, we are not covered if we broke the 'legs' of
whatever...

don't worry guys, the brackets only costs less than 6 ringgit each -- it's
even cheaper than a meal of nasi kandar at Pelita.

to remove the bracket, I recommend using a metal ruler (small). That
oughtta work. Those plastic remover kinda too hard to cut and too
expensive to fabricate.

im going to DIY my car as well... the rattlings are more annoying than
those supermarket promoter inside deparmental stores.

aaron - all my bracket legs dah 50% putus liao. not sure which SC is
responsible since i went to 3 diff SCs. they nicely put it back like
nothing happened. i did check with the SC and they do carry stock. i
intended to do my own DIY and purchase the new bracket once confirm all
the rattling is gone for good.

if u managed to find the plastic jig, let me know. i;m definiotely
interested.

hey yc,

u can try buy the new bracket...

it is hard to check now but since it is all putus by dunno anyone.

but try work it out with them...but I will check with my SC see if I can
get the plastics thingy... of course I'll need to pay for it...

on the rattling noise... you will need to analyse it yourself.

What i did is to identify the where is the sound.. I press / hold the
panel with a HIP HOP song...then I use a pad or sponge or something good
to insert and hold it... but sometime, need to test for one week to see
if it happens again...

no easy.. I notice that all happen in diff places...even in the same
place, it is diff thingy..

aaron - u;re 100% right on the noise. it seems to have its own life. 1
day, it apprears, 1 day senyap, next day appears on another part, etc. i
also banyak pening. in this case, i don;t think the SC can help much.
that's why i decided to DIY. at least i can slowly and painfully try to
pin point the source.....
