For me, i pump ProJet and Shell V Power. I think ProJet petrol is the best
in terms of FC and powerful :) For Shell V Power, smoother in changing
gears and less jerking.. :)

I hv tried Shell, Petronas & Caltex and from my experience my rank is...

1) Shell V-Power - got power, smoother but more pricey la
2) Caltex - pretty good but no royalty program :-(
3) Petronas - smooth and less noise...
4) Shell (normal) - more km but engine sound a lil loud

If you rajin, you can check previous topic as if I'm not mistaken there
are some discussions on this topic before.

Cheers

well here are my preference:

1. Projet
2. Petronas
3. Mobil/Esso
4. Shell (regular, not v-power)
5. Caltex

No to BP, noticed fuel consumption super high when i use BP.

All the petro are the same basically.

V-power? dont use it, it is only useful for old car not new car, I
couldnt feel the power. However, V-power does gives better milleges then
normal shell. AND I do agree that shell does give more millege, but not
much, probably 5km - 20km.

Hi all,
Just to share some of my knowledge. Recently I was involved in one of my
company project in Melaka and I had a chance to speak to one of Petronas
dagangan engineer regarding the fuel that we use. Just to let you know
basically Projet, Petronas and shell fuel was supply from the same
storage tank and the only different is the additive that has been
injected to the fuel before it left truck loading area and deliver to
petrol station and according to him V-power does not giving any advantage
if you use in KL where trafic is terrible and V-power will benefit if you
only go a for a long distance.
I hope it benefit you guys.

U can assume this:

- Driving highway to highway + no traffic jam.
- Drove from Kajang to Batu Pahat (filling RM50.00 of PROJET - fuel gauge
warning indicator start lightning)
- Setting Trip B to 000
- The same day going back to Kajang (need to add up another RM40.00 of
PROJET - the fuel gauge needle indicate at below then first level/bar)
- Arrived at Kajang, my Trip B show me 550 km.
- I think my fuel left in tank is about RM10 - RM15. Means that my Optra
1.8 consumed in about RM75.00 for 550 km = lbh kurang la RM0.13/km.
- The result from using PROJET petrol: Very smooth, more power and easily
to achive 180km/h (for a few minute maah... just to test/know my
Optra 1.8 performance) can go more I think, because pedal is not reach
to the floor yet but not tend to do that (Another "speed alarm" warned
me... my wife lah, apa lagi???!!!+++) IKUT UNDANG-UNDANG haaa.

Drive Safely Guys....

correcto mundo ubikaripap...my wife worked with oil&gas company pun cakap
sama....additional additive that makes the difference...if only she can
get 'staff purchase' for the fuel...that wud be nice....
