yes, you are right TCS and VSC are slightly different things. But I was
referring to the action of acceleration control in low traction situations
like rain eg. Accelerating to do overtake at the exact moment your car
drives over a large patch of water. VSC would be extra helpful but like
you said - unfortunately maybe unavailable in our models.

But VSC is really quite useless in a front-drive car made to understeer.
Because wheelspin will cause understeer which won't do much damage anyway.
TCS on the other hand may cure a little understeer by limiting wheelspin.

Different case though with a rear drive car.
