I have a sedan car just to use for work and sometimes hang around. I have
a special interest about 4WD pickup car coz it looks big and tough. Also
stylish too. But I have a doubt wether this type of car is suitable for me
for daily use or not. Is it too expensive to buy and to maintain? Which
model is recommended?

Yah true..... if U r thinking only the 'macho' or big or though image, or
just cruising around, I would ask U to forget it. Many cars in the maket
give U better image & handling than a 4WD.
Another side.... if U think U r into camping, mother of nature kinda
stuffs, go for it.
I had no choice when I bought it. My nature of job require me to have a so
called 'truck'. I didn't like my car at the 1st place. In fact, I only
used it for works. I always borrowed my bro's wira at night whenever I
went for TT or clubbing. I liked wira's handling & comfort more than my
truck.
However thing changed after I went for my 1st off road trip in this Jan
05. Since then I started to invest in my 4WD bit by bit. Imagine I was
complaining for about 2 years before I started to like my 4WD.

OK.... My point is car with lower CG give better handling, especially
during cornering.
I could go for my dad's CRV or my bro's wira whenevr I went out at night.
I prefer Wira because I have more confident in it during high speed &
cornering.
Those big LCruiser?? Well... high speed in highway, I think LC is good.
But when it comes to jam driving or parking, i bet LC drivers wish they
have a smaller cars.

I thought the LC is in it's element when stuck in a jam or parking.
Being naughty, and if the mood is there. I take part in the Concret Jungle
Challenge.
Mainly consists of climbing kerbs and parking at 45 degree and 1 foot high
kerbs.

babygod... r u from sabah or sarawak?? those 4WD drivers dont need to
worry about the parking space...
they just park their car on the road divider, kerb..... and funny is no
police is around to saman them....
apart from high CG, will 4WD be more bumpy than a normal sedan? my
friends who drive a landcruiser (ninja turtle that assemble in malaysia)
complaint that the car ride like a boat....
i never drive a landcruiser nor pajero before and cannot comment much.
ocassionally i drive a truck (dalhatsu 2 ton lorry) and isuzu rodeo and
found that the truck tend to swear (to left and right) a bit.... is it
the problems of the car or is it a characteristic of this type of
vehicles...
thanks.
