Guys, today was a very sentimental day to me. It's the day I depart with
my Storm. I manage to clean it up for the last time & reluctantly give
the keys away. I am glad that she has found a new home. Sniff,
sniff.....

I donno when will be trip to KL. Main target will be to find my wife a 5
or 7 series BMW. I will definitely inform earlier. I would mind a
classic vogue model, but my wife says no.

Say, any idea on where to get cheap part/ accessory for my baby? Thinking
of changing the front grill. Plus the climate control dial is loose.

I got the driver's manual already. It's with Sebastian (Partner in KL).
Guess, will be studying this christmas. No holiday for me, short of staff.

Wishing everybody a very merry christmas & a happy new year.

Greetings,

Well, LRM is having a clearance sale but as Khidzir said, many items are
already gone. Then there are various independent spare parts dealers.

Haha...not a classic? She'll be getting a legend y'know. Well, 2 rangies
are a bit too much, eh?

Hopefully my rangie would be ready by the time you arrive here. Can't
promise though....sigh.

Cheers.

Happy New Year guys. I am happy to be associated with a team of crazy
landy enthusiast & be a part of the highest posted forum of 4x4 category.

Got my user's manual. Reading it from cover to cover. Discover about
the key code superlocked method. I have got 3 sets of keys but only 1 can
use it's transmitter. I tried to synchronise the other set but to no
avail.

Thinking of venturing into workshop business specializing in Land Rover.
Got a place in mind already....maybe lah. If jadi, it will be my second
business venture. I must be crazy for even thinking of jumping into an
area I have no expertise of. No risk no gain I guess.

My friend Sebastian has just got himself a Silver Nov 97 2.5 DSE. I am so
happy for him. It was thru my contact. He got it for .... you won't
believe the price....RM 80,000 only.

go fer it. If you're not yet a member of LROM, then I suggest you to
become one to get yerself more familiarised wif this landy world.

80K? Lucky devil! Well, I guess some people have all da luck. Good

happy new year bb, hey hows the rr transformation? how much do you pay for
the donor rr? my 110 still not finished rebuilding, down with illness
since after raya so cant do heavy work. for business i think accessories
is better than repair, wider market too. hmmm if only i have a plastic
factory, heheh then can make all sort of bodykit/canopy/etc. havent seen a
major player in malaysia yet

Greetings,

Sori lambat reply moat. Went back to Kedah in a Jiffy and now back again.

Got the whole body (minus engine & gearbox) fer 7K. Tapi repairs reaching
3K and counting... sigh. Engine dah masuk & start, But many things to do
still. Road tax kena buat (more RMs...) b4 road trial & balancing stuffs.
After that baru cosmetic repairs.

Ada factory pun no good. Mould saje dah 5 figure. Itu baru satu item....
alahai.

Mebbe I'd drop one day to see ya (& the landy)

Cheers

bb,

so u r transfering your engine + gearbox to the new car? if that is the
case then what else to do?

5 figure? whoa, u got kilang ah? dunno its that expensive, i thought can
just make kayu punya sample then make a mould out of it using the mould
making compound, then just layer the fibreglass in it. hehehe obviously
not everything i learn is practical to do.

btw, the gmart at kampung subang have the mark2 rr for 3+ iinm, chk the
star

Greetings,

Something like that moat. Hopefully the transplant would go well.

Used to run a plastic mould injection company. Hafta make the mould in
steel (better grade - higher price; especially precision moulds). Of
course dis is not the fibreglass making thing. Plastic compunds used would
be ABS, PP, PU ..etc.

Alahai, my mkI pun tak jalan and barely haf enuff RMs to service my needs
and the car's (repairs) needs, hehe. So, my dream of getting a MkII would
be permanently on hold. Jgn tamak bang, biar satu2 jalan dulu.

Am having a chaotic week. Me notebook and the office desktop kong. Banyak
dosa ni....

OK, cheers
