If you all don't mind meeting at Starbucks Pusat Damansara, I can arrange
the parking for all of us in front of the shop & reserve a table for us
under the name "OFFROADERS". Btw, how many of us?

Hie

I agree with Jsammy to meet up at pusat Damansara, but how many of u guys
are going to be there? If u guys dont mind, can u email me ur h/p so i can
coordinate the time. By the way is there alot of parking space in S/bucks
P. Damansara, another option would be extreme park sunway.

Waaah.....

So many differing opinions about Jeep Wrangler. Now I know why Jeep owners
will tell you, "It's a Jeep thing you wouldn't understand". How come
there're no comments from any Jeep owners in this forum?

There is one real classic red Wrangler that I see regularly in Damansara
Uptown area. I've left messages on his windscreen asking whether its for
sale, but he did respond. None of the Wranglers that I've seen come close
to this particular one. Does anybody out there knows the owner? Would sure
like to buy it from him and join you guys going off-road. Money no problem
lah...

Hi Harrogate and All.........just back from Lata Berembun yesterday! That
was my first time there and it was a nice adventure. I signed up for the G
Benum mountain climbing trip but the group became too big, I withdrew and
just joined the others on this picnic trip.

To get there, you will need to get to Bentong>>Raub>>Sg Ruan>>Sg Klau>>3km
tarmac on Jln Sg Chalit then 10km offroad to the Berembun waterfalls. Do
not be disappointed if you don't get any Kelah. You will need some well
modded 4wd to assist if you get stuck in the river (bridge damaged) And if
water rises, no vehicle can cross the river (not by vehicle unless you
build a temporary log bridge to span the washed off portion).
Alternatively, just park your vehicles before the bridge, you can cross
the bridge by foot. Then walk for about 1.5km to the waterfalls.
Those who need transport can hire them at Sg Klau. The 4X4 can be hired
(with driver) for about RM150 per day. Last weekend, some guys rented
about 12 of these vehicles (very rugged looking) We came in about 20, 4x4
with our mountain climbing kakis and also our "lepak at waterfalls" gang.
Hope this helps.

There's some information on Lata Berembun here:

http://www.geocachin...s.aspx?ID=57362

Since this page has GPS coordinates, will go check it sometime this month.
