On another topic, are you interested in a Ford 8.8 rear axle with disc brake and
internal drum parking brake? it is about the same length as the Dana 35, same bolt
pattern so you can reuse the jeep rims. The tubes arer 3inches diametre and the
shaft is 1.31' compared to the 35's 1.16' That's about 120% stronger. These axles
come under the ford explorer and mustang. I have a unit and want to sell it.

You can get 4.56 and 4.88 for the Ford, USD139 and 69 for master rebuild kit should
you decide to swap gears. currently is has a 4.11 (will bolt right up!) and LSD.

I also have a Dana 30 and spare axle shafts and 297x (big) ujoints to sell. Cheap cheap
lelong.
