Torque2Me a.k.a. CovertOperations78 reporting for duty!
One of the forum members named Jeffrey had written to me requesting info on CNG tank retrofit for a stock standard Feroza. Jeffrey, sorry I couldn't reply to you as your email address was not included, so I have to respond here!
(i) Type and size of tank: 65 litre fibre tank type II
(ii) Installer was NGV Alternatif Car Care of Puchong but last I heard, they are not in business any more.
(iii) Carburetor, definitely cheaper. Come on, fuel injection systems are for N00BS!
Just took my little Battletank out for a weekend at Sg Sendat recently, and did some soft offroading along Jalan Kebun last week. Holding up well. Glad I got the engine mounting replaced. 1.5 bodylift next and maybe fat tyres and offset rims if I could afford those!

Hello Torque2Me and all Ferozians..
I'm here!!The latest Feroza member.
First I would like to thank Torque2Me for being kind on info sharing.
I would like to intro myself and my new baby!...I'm Jeffery from PJ and have just bought
a stock standard Feroza (96) which is about 2 days old since my ownership.
Corrections...I dont own it yet...still belongs to the Finance!..hehehe
Just did a timing belt replacement, flush the radiator, replaced the brake pads, replaced
all the tranny and engine oils..etc.
Next projet is to have it "look" like an offroader like eg. body/suspension lifted...
with big fat donut looking tyres!!
I'm more on the looks rather than the serious offroader..if you know what I mean.
After the above project would be the installation of CNG/NGV.
And the list goes on..and on..and on.
I would greatly appreciate if I can get in touch with any member here
which I can get some tech advise (pro and cons) of fat tyres,body/suspension lifts
reliable mechanics (not those with $amurai $words...hahaha).
Also, kindly add me in the next "TT" list.I would love to meet up
with fellow Ferozians here.
Thanks and have a good week ahead

Hi guys, long time no hear. Sorry been busy lately but managed to go on a few offroading trips with mshuky5 n Rimszadera. From now I'm Lost Jeeper no more. I've sold my Jimny after only using it 5 months n I have just sold my Cherokee last months.
My new ride.....still not a Feroza, sorry. I'm enjoying my Yellow Banger for the past 3 months aka Yellow-coloured Mitsubishi Storm. Well, alot cheaper to maintain than my Cherokee n a lot tougher than my Jimny. Still can't get a Feroza coz too small for my family of 4 in the jungle.
Very happy with the car except the part where I end up carrying all the trash from camping trips!!! Wonder why???
Well, hope to go on more offroad trips n camping in d coming year........hope some of u can join us.
