hey guys.. when is the next trip..? im pretty tied up with my work this month.. however if u all want to go offroad, i will join if situation permits..
currently my feroza is in I.C.U (in my garage for repair).. dah dekat dua minggu tak jalan..
2 days before CNY the radiator leak due to fallen object. actually the air filter mouth is not properly thightened and fell onto moving fan.. due to that the fan blades snapped and hit the radiator .. apa lagi, berdarahlah feroza ku...
tomorrow im going to collect the radiator in Lukut near Port Dickson the place where msyuky and i used to hang out.
i got to replace the fan too. .. new original fan is about RM 240/piece without fan clutch...! there is no local made fan for feroza but i got an option.. i use toyota hilux fan.. it can be fitted to feroza fan clutch perfectly. the only issue is the length of its blades which is longger than feroza fan.
the toyota hilux fan blades is about 2.5 cm longger than feroza. need to cut that part in order to accomodate the fan into feroza engine bay. or else it will hit the radiator cover.
the cutting of each blades is quite tedious job becoz i have to cut it evenly to avoid imbalances. i have to carefully measure and cut the fan blades to make it look like same as the original unit.
the cost is just about RM 40 for hilux fan..
my fan clutch is still in good condition and it response to engine tempreture correctly. no need to replace.
my feroza can only "back in action" this weekend lah.. so kalau ada trip jgn lupa roger kat aku k...
msyuky, simex tyre got Centipede Extreme Trekker which is 31 x 10.5 size. i think ur feroza can be fitted with this tyre.
ok guys... see ya round!
...cheerio...

I am in the mids of upgradding my Feroza, I've seen a few feroza with a 31' tyres plus a body lift. and I think it really looks cool. but does the car have the power to pull its own weight. as it is right now Im using 235/75/15 Bridgestone Dueller A/T tyres and its a drag to climb hills plus it's thirst for fuel.
I once had an advise to lighten the flywheel to increase my hill climbing speed rate but thought I would need a second oppinion from this forum.
Oh.. Where and what is the average price to get a body lift done and nice cheap rims, most of the shop I went have only 6 holes type.
Thanks in advance for the comment and keep this thread going.. there arent many Feroza's left out there..

Hey mate i suggest not to lighten the flywheel...
U'll find the car very "jumpy" at low rpm.
What u want is more low end torque, so if u're going to lighten it u're going to affect real world acceleration.
Just my 2 cents.
If u're interested in a set of rims with used 31 MTs feel free to let me know.
