Hi people ,
I'm planning to book the Innova sometime in late June (when I go home for
a holiday) ... I've never ever bought a brand new car (or any car for that
matter) b4. So what should I do ?? Put the booking fee/deposit/Downpayment
and immideately apply for a loan or do I wait until the car is ready for
delivery b4 putting the D/P and applying for the loan ?? For info , I'll
be back 25June to 15July ... and then will finally return home for good on
01December. So I'm planning to request for the delivery to be in December
but wonder if that request will be entertained.
Your input would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
P/S : Can any of u recommend a reliable Toyota dealer in PJ , Subang Jaya
or Puchong area ??

Your advise pelase ....

Hi JinApret,
A step-by-step guide:
1. Confirm that you really want to buy a car.
2. Confirm that you really want to buy a Toyota, in view of the lousy
service at the SCs, rip-off prices, suspicious engine oil, tough warranty
claim procedures, etc. Ensure you are prepared to pay (& tolerate)
or "divorce" them.
3. Identify the showroom/branch/dealer that you would like to
enrich/benefit by your kind act of parting with your hard-earned money.
4. Get estimated delivery date of your new "baby".
5. Apply for loan thru' SA or your friend in finance co.
6. Get confirmation of loan approval.
7. Pay downpayment (price of car - loan amount).
8. Confirm with SA on actual delivery date.
9. Dream about your "baby" everyday & every night while waiting...
10.Nearing delivery date, choose registration number (if you want).
11.Big day! Your "baby" arrives! Inspect car (better get friends to help
also).
12. Congratulations! Welcome to the growing family of Toyota car owners!
BTW, you can actually request for a delivery date that is later than
their schedule. It shouldn't be a problem. I did that with my car.
Fellow Toyota fans, please advise if I have overlooked anything.
Cheers!
