i disagree with that statement. toyota chooses where to make the number
plates. there are places doing better quality number plates instead of
those pathetic yellowing letters stuck on a piece of black plastic.

i don't see other makes (even proton/perodua!) having this yellow number
plates syndrome..

.....ai-yo! why buy Toyota fr UMW in the first place? Pay high price for it
& get donkey product...some more can be very proud with the brand.

Well, only the ignorant falls into UMW's traps. Dun-lah blame the dealer or
SA only BUT YOURSELF Evil.

errr...it seem many here are first time buyer...number plate has never been
a control item by UMW or toyota...if you buy from UMW toyota...its should
be standard..but if you buy from let say 123 sdn.bhd...their dealing could
be different..got mine not from UMW the plate still shinning white..its
depend on the dealer attitude...
secondly the small fee for the number plate is not an option..they made it
mandatory in a way..which many new car buyer will not bother anyway.

##Well, only the ignorant falls into UMW's traps. Dun-lah blame the dealer or
SA only BUT YOURSELF Evil##
well..there is no 2 way in buying a new toyota in malaysia, there is only
one trap..hahahah unless you want to go naza and get screwed again.

Hi,

Anyone know where to get a quality car plate which don't turn yellow? I
am a driver of Vios and the car plate turns yellow just after one year.
Anyone also know how much it cost?
