Yup, I noticed this on many Toyotas too. Who can beat mine? Turned yellow
just after 1 year old.

How much did they charge us for that number plate? Gave us such lousy
quality...

YES, I AGREE, I also wanted to post this but afraid of the so call
bashers out there. I even pointed it out to the SC.

Toyota Number plate all become yellow one, and some I see fall off as
well. But I dun understand is it happen mostly at the rear plate.

If you wanna get a good one its gonna cost you double the price,
guarentee no yellow. I bought a set for my benz, standatd looking and for
years still looks new.

MyOne,

Are you talking about the old plates without the border with "UMW Toyota
Motor" written at the bottom? New Toyota cars come with the border/holder
(whatever you call them).

Yeah those rear plates without the white borders all lettering become
yellow wan....very ugly..some Toyota cars I see superbly detailed but the
yellow plates make it look like a wasted effort.

referring to those without the border or frame. i believe this is up to
the individual SAs/branches. maybe they try to save some cost there.

but in the end it is just a disgrace to the toyota brand. i have seen
camrys having yellowed number plates too. too bad they don't see long
term rather than short term only.

Mine some turn yellow but some still in white worst lah!!This happen only
after 5~6 month from new.I saw whole Malaysia Toyota number plate also
like that !(Those original from UMW Toyota)

I complaint to salesman branded car but cheap number plate quality!Faster
change a good one to me!(Not me only but TOYOTA reputation itself also!!)
