Hi guys,

I've placed a booking on a City last month and has yet to changed my mind
on switching to Vios. I'm currenylt owning a Corolla 1.6SEG yr 2000 and
has decided to sell it off for a City. Simple, I don find City is so
similar to other Honda cars I have driven. This new City changed my whole
impressions towards Honda.

I am very impressed with Toyota stability and reliability, and till today
I will still keep on praising it for that. But I decided not to go for
Toyota anymore cos Vios is to Toyota-ish. City has a futuristic look that
I think Vios has long way to go.... Features on both cars is not so
important to me as both of their features are comparable.
Just my thoughts ... thanks

Thank you for yr valuable input...

City's deciding factor is futuristic design.. forward thinking design..

FYI... I saw a City today at Bangsar... I must it did look much better, I
guess I am beginning to accept its aesthetic look.

Any pointers & inputs ???

Hi ChrisChia,

Hmmm... not really so ....
Looks and designs, definitely I'll go for a City than Vios. I have to
agree if I were to go for a Vios, definitely to mod it will give me more
options.

I think I ought to give myself a chance to accept a Honda, after so much
of new impressions I have from other models of Honda.. It's so much
different. Guess you have to test drive one to feel it. I had enough with
a toyota and I care not to elaborate bout it. But still, toyota is a
reliable car.....

REGARDS.

We booked our H.City at Penang Kah Motor on 14/9, Satelite Silver. Was
informed by the SA that the car is ready for delivery on 26/6. Cancelled
booking as we have earlier decided to switch over to Vios, booked at UMW
Toyota on early June.
Reasons for the switch -
1) doesn't like the exterior look, especially the rear of City, when on
the road.
2) during test drive, noticed that the braking system was not as
responsive as Vios. Need to press quite hard and yet slow to stop.
Delivery of power on depressing of fuel pedal was not as good as that of
Vios.

as for me, i would choose the VIOS over the City as I find the latters
look weird. the car looks very awkward and just imagine if Proton came out
with the City's shape instead of Honda, sure kena whacked kau-kau. after a
while, the novelty wears off and the City look won't appeal anymore. On
the othe hand, the vios looks more conservative and i believe the styling
will appeal for a longer period of time. Radical looks won't last very
long. take for example the previous Hyundai S-coupe. it was so fantastic
last time and now yucks. Look at the Corolla SEG, till now, the car looks
acceptable. The Vios engine is acceptable and it's looks good too. I'd go
for the vios anytime.
