Hi everyone, long long time didn't log in.just want to say hi. Now my Unser clock 220k . Still running ok. No white smoke. Just bought a Mitsibishi Triton 2010 2.5AT. picking up on Thursday. Just curious, how much is the Unser worth? Mine is a 2002 model, auto.

wow..this thread still active!

it's already 13 years and I still have my Unser! Current mileage already 460K+. My first clutch change was done I think 300K. Mechanic dem surprised it lasted so long.

However, all good things must come to an end. I'm selling off my unser as I have replaced it with Innova 2 years ago. I seldom use the Unser now and best to sell it off for a smaller vehicle.

I was offered 11K by a used car dealer and 11-13K (not yet see car) if I trade-in

Car is still in good shape but in need of a good paint and maybe reseat valve (top overhaul) with white smoke coming out.

13 years vehicle w/o any major repairs, all rubber parts I think need to replace.

Good and cheap to maintain. a full tank of rm88 (b4 fuel increase) I can get 500km (20% city, 80% long distance)

Not easy to find a replacement for Unser as it's very good and carrying/moving things. The Innova can't as it's more of a ppl carrier.

Best alternative I think would be Livina x-gear as I do not need a 7 seater.

Plan for tomorrow but live for today

Dear Expert,
Any good recommendation for Unser Tyre. Previous owner using 205/65/15.
My current tyre size is 195/65/15 Falken ZE912 for front
Rear still using previous owner XM1 205/65/15 (Year 2009) is time to change.

Should I keep the default Unser tyre size 195/65/15?

I need not to have super durable tyre like 80-100k km. 40k km is sufficient as my usage is low, approx 10k km per year.
I prefer good grip tyre especially on wet condition.

Cheers

If you don't need the width of 205 size maintain back 195/65R15. 205/65R15 overall diameter is also bigger by 2.05%. Still within the 3% rule, but you may loose some pick up that is all.
You can also use 205/60R15 which overall diameter is smaller by 1.18%. Car should be more stable but slightly more bumpy...

Depends on what you want out of the tyres.
Teo, AR10, Ecopia, XM2, A-Drive, are all entry level tyres. CD2, ZE912, Assurance as Mid category.
Entry level normal for durability and comfort. Mid are a mix of comfort and performance.
My friend using the CD2 on his Unser or you can try out Goodyear new Assurance Triplemax..... smile_tongue.gif

This is quite a long running thread. I still have my 2002 Unser Auto. but recently the petrol consumption is kind of high, average full tank will only goes about 300KM, is this normal?

It has been 2 years+ since I've sold my LGX. Now a friend of mine is looking for one. But I'm still available to answer any questions on the mods I've posted and how to get it done.

This post will get very lonesome as there isn't much to talk about the Unser. It is just so reliable.
