Hi, all dear Sifu here. I'm new and like to know and learn more from u
all. I'm from JB.

1. Just wonder SE limited or LE better in handling? SE suit to modify?

2. hard to see in JB now. Is it hard to get spare parts so no one dare to
get it?

3. LE compare to SE which one better? How's the 2nd hand value? Which year
should i choose?

Hope can get sharing from u all. :)

larry: I've seen a modified LE with a 20 valve engine. Forgot what's the
type of engine, liao. Very powderful. This guy did a total mod
including... all disc brakes, re-inforced chassis and many more, lar. WRT
to choices, the SE would be my preference. I understand that the SE is
more solidly built than the LE. Anyway, both are great cars! LE is the
older version, so, naturally it's cheaper, lor.

LE is lighter. Better power to weight ratio.
But the SE suspension design is more solid. So better in handling.

i've got my LE '85 for 12K here, i know its a bit high, but i really like
it. Swap in 20valve halfcut, no problem at all, just bolt in without
cutting here and there, the best thing is managed to swap the whole
dasboard (AE101 2 door version).. so far so good,.. and yes LE is lighter
so pick up is quite awesome.. but at high speed (140~160KM) LE not so
stabil.. :):)

Now i'm looking for the SE for other project..he..he.. wanna know why?..
maybe its built is more solid and better in handling..

emmm i do think both is the same in handling quality..since they share 90%
of suspension setup......

as for high speed stability...if u own a 1k++ suspension....this is not a
problem...even at 200++kmh.........its all about
tyre,rim,alingment,absorber,spring

if this 4 in good material and good condition..im sure u will not
complained about the handling lor...hehehhehe
