you sell it, the chances of you letting a jem is veli high.....like you i
just bought a LE (as a sub resto proj)...now owning 3 toyotas at
home....and to tell you the truth, the LE is the most solid Toyota compared
to my AE101 or my parents Innova.....the worst is my parents
innova.....knock abit also kemek, compared to the LE where it kissed the
car in front during parking( my mistake) yet, the bumper still solid as
ever but the car (honda City) i bang wasn't lucky...the bumper dropped
off.......no doubt parts are hard to get, but what suprise me is the
sturdiness of the LE parts even after a 23 years of abuse...even my ae101
cannot compare to it....

father`s hard earned money, the car was not bought straight away, it was
paid by monthly payment until its fufilled so its very unlikely my father`s
Toyota Cressida will not be sold. Toyota Cressida is a huge car, its not
like the ae86 or such, i mean, this car is built based on toughness,
sturdiness as well as powerful. for
many years, this car still has that shine although the paint wore off, when
my father sent the car for complete restoration, my dad was just smiled
with happiness, saying it looks like it just came out from the showroom 20
years ago. So we`re not gonna sell it. No doubt the parts for this 20 year
old car requires alot of patience and effort in finding the right part to
meet its stock specifications, unless its really hopeless to find it then
im considering to go to a workshop where they can custom make any part(im
not sure if malaysia has that around)...of
course at a very high price, question is, do we have to spend that much of
RM$$,$$$ just for one tiny part? Most people would think that its pointless
to spend so much just for an obsolete parts when better ones are available.
I would spend that much, in order to keep this 20 year old car continue
running for another 50 years or so...even if it means changing the timing
belt for that matter

Hi Bro!
I've came across this forum here....and wondering if you are still active here.... I hope your Cressida is running well like it used to be.....My dad had a Cressida back in early 90's....It was a great car...i had so much memories with that car...but too bad the car was sold in early 2000.....i recently found another Cressida at PJ for sale....im currently looking for parts and wondering if you have any contacts that are familiar with this car before i buy the car.....
