actually the city is cheaper price and cheaper material. just look at the
door handles, arent they the same chrome ones from the older city? i
think they just took those parts to put this one to sell it cheaper.

seriously, i am considering both cars, city and vios. and there are pros
and cons of both cars. the city body looks like its been put together
haphazardly from parts here and there. thats why it looks so weird. too
short there, or too long here. just look at the front door`s window
pillar (near the side mirrors) - there is a weird square hole cut-out
there. why?

the vios on the other hand, also has its cheap interiors. i noticed that
the new show cars at starhill has creases on the car seats which means
its either poor quality or just not put together tight enough. the
seating is also not comfortable and the rear ones cannot fold down like
the city, but the vios body looks good, like a big regular car, very "tai-
thae" (big look). vios oso no 2 yr maintenance-free like honda`s

i like to add that the older city, accord and civic all look cheap but
sell with expensive prices. i always felt that we`ve been short-changed
by HM. the only exception so far has been the jazz. you can immediately
feel the difference once you enter that car.

Both are good cars, just needed a test drive on these cars to get the feel
of things.

The Sentra 1.5SE has the best quality interior if compared against Vios &
City but you`d have to pay over 10K more ! I don`t agree that the Vios
back seats are uncomfortable, I think that the City back seats are also
uncomfortable as well (Vios is better). The only good point for the City
is the flexible rear seats and reputedly good fuel consumption. But
overall wise, the Vios appears to be a better looking and more `complete`
sedan car. By now, you all should know that I dislike CVT transmission and
would prefer not to have electric power steering. CVT is due to
reliability & maintainance and power steering due to `feel` & feedback.
