Hi guys,

I was just wondering if any of you encounter this issue. I am driving an
Optra 1.8 and you know how loud the engine gets when you really floor the
pedal to the metal. The funny thing is i noticed that nowadays when I
floor the car (just to get it going) the loud engine roar is accompanied
by some high pitch "whine" somewhat like a turbo spool but more higher
piteched. not sure is there could be an issue with the engine as I just
completed my 10k Service. Thanks for the advise

i find the whine sound from my aircon blower, a bit like
white noise. mine definitely not coming from the engine

i tried listening to the air-con but it was not from there...mine sounded
'metallic' :)
