YES, u can duplicate the Nabira KEYs. I did it at a regular locksmith.
U can use it to lock and unlock your car (w immoblizer deactivate lah).
U can also start your car.
BUT the w/o the built in chip in the key, your engine will die off within
1 to 2 seconds. So no need to put those steering wheel bar locks.
BTw, to duplcate the ORIGINAL key, the agent need the chasis no. of your
car to do
the necessary programming on the key, I was told.
I duplicate the key for the just in case I lock myself out. Can still open
the door but the immobilizer will be activated and alarm (horn) sound.

The reason for me to duplicate the key is because I want to test the
immobilizer. U never know it's working unless u test it.
Guys, I only realise the front passenger door has no key hole.

thin ones...and does not damage your wallet. However i could not find a
locksmith who has the type i want or any type that can be cut to duplicate
my original key.
Anybdy know what dead bolt/lock system means. I read somewhere that it is a
feature in Nabira.

was broken in. 2 glass windows smashed and radio got stolen. Alarm not
triggered coz the thief entered through the window. Luckily nabira 1.8
has cabin motion sensor alarm system which can detect intruder entering
through the window.
To be safe I park my nabira inside house compound but has to leave my
poor kelisa outside (driveway not big enough for 2 cars).
Feel sorry for nabira 2.2 owners whose car doesn't come with cabin motion
sensor.

etc), DAMN... my wife's kelisa was broken in this morning. 2 windows
smashed and the thief got away with some coins and a sun-glass. Luckily
kelisa glass windows don't cost so much, if it happens to my nabira it
will cost me a fortune.
