1)
What is the difference between ECT (electronically controlled
transmission) and Super ECT ?

I asked the SA, and he said smoother transmission. Not satisfied with
answer. Obviously the Super ECT would be better but like to know how
differently it functions.

2)
Is there a difference between Twin Cam engine & DOHC engine? If so, what
are the differences in terms of performance and function?

Thanks for your feedback and comments.

What is the different between CVT and Super CVT? It seem that CVT has
lesser power compare to Super CVT.

ECT and Super ECT...get the cataloque for Altis 1.8 . The difference is
explained even with a picture illustration. Difference is significant when
you are climbing and coming down the hill. Super ECT supposed to be able
to hold the gear here...sensing the slope...better.
Other than that ..tak tahu!

ECT is like most auto transmissions with electronic controls. Super ECT
is equal to Honda's Grade Logic feature where the system uses a bit
of 'common sense' to detect downhill situations and does not allow the
transmission to go to the highest gear and you lose engine braking. It is
a matter of programming and using extra sensors to determine the speed
and braking actions.

Twincam, DOHC are same meaning, ie dual overhead camshafts.
