Hi Djan
one last and most important thing.
check the spark plug cables for the year 199x ???
91 and 92 are advice not to take - why? some people says the ECU always die - but I cannot confirm
at least get 93 and above
last silvetop is 95
I have ECU year 91 and 93, open them, completely different, don't simply swap
when you buy the half-cut make sure you have the oxygen sensor intact, + the cat convertor + the final cat convertor sensor
when you transplant them into your AE86 - make sure the exhaust flow to the big sensor 1st then car then finally 2nd sensor
2nd sensor is to check if the cat is working from the reference read by the 1st sensor
and also check if the 1st sensor is working or not ;)
very important.

Hi yolk
the charcoal filter, you want or you mean for Djan???
if he buy half-cut, should have lor
somemore the air-cond wind speed sensor to tell the ECU to switch off the air-cond fan after achiving good wind speed.

Hi Djan
Sorry, forgot about that.
Another way is to look at the stock absorber, there is a year printed there also
another way is to look at some plastic pieces, there is a year stamp on it
Another way is to look at the ECU, there is a date on it, either side left, or right, top or bottom, high or low, some times hidden behind the bracket
at worst, open the ECU, there is a date there also
most date comes with month as well :)
some pulleys / metal pieces / bracket in the engine bay also have date. :)
another thing, make sure you only have 1 throttle pull thingy, the old ones like 91 / 92 have 2 springy /er ???
