A lot been said about the acceleration 0 to 100km/h. From the info I've
gathered both cars deliver between 14 to 15 secs.

Just like to hear your comments...

What about 60 to 120km/h ? Which car performs better ?

For responsiveness and drivability, I guess this driving specification
represents many motorists' requirements in M'sia.

For instance when you are trailing behind a slow vehicle, overtaking the
vehicle would require the engine to step up its power delivery into the
wheels.

City's i-DSI engine deliver max torque at 3000rpm whereas VIOS's VVT-i is
at 4200rpm.

Assuming the driver is driving at 60km/h at 2700 to 3200 rpm (depending on
gear ratio), then flooring the pedal and accelerates to 120km/h.

1) How do these different engines response to such driving conditions?

2) And how does the different transmission system plays in their role to
deliver responsiveness and smoothness?

This message is posted on both Toyota & Honda forum site. Like to hear
from both.
