guys,
Sg Lancer review.
http://www.oneshift....id=168&pageid=1

Read the last sentence:
"Finally, a message for all you lazy, clutchless aficionados that have left
legs as strong as your right - do yourself a favour and get the manual. You
won’t regret it."

Just got back from the showroom. Overall a nice car and value for money
with its features.
However, I observed a few weaknesses:-
1. The leg and head room at the backseat at very small. Can hardly fit 3
adults.
2. Curb in between rear passager sets. This is absence in the Civic.
3. Limited boot room area.
4. No autocruise.

This car is very suitable for single or couple without kids. As family
car, maybe not.

I was pretty interested in the new Civic but the Lancer made me take a wait
and see approach as the price and features looks good.

But the following incident made me change my mind...

My Friend just got back from the Showroom in Kajang (Gmart Auto), and after
having looked at the car, he asked the salesman can he go for a test drive?
The salesman answered smugly "you can test drive only after you have booked
the car).

Frankly this is a turn off for me and if mitsu dealers are getting arrogant
because they think they are selling more cars then they can kiss my custom
good bye... If sales people are arrogant I dare not think what will happen
after sales!

just came back from eon showroom-glenmarie, totally different from
previous lancer... bigger and of course sportier, GT version. The most
importantly I managed to test drive this car.. without putting booking
fees! to cut short, pros: full leather (black, and I love the smell),
paddle shifters,3 years free maintenance. Cons: No auto crusie, no power
retractable side mirrors.

I think no longer time, we will notice a lot of brand new lancer on the
road. It's really attractive, the outlook, the price, the accesory. Car
cost around 11Xk, you can get original oem 18" rim, SRS as well. And it's
fully import from Japan. I think it's really a great deal compare with
civic.

I reckoned Gmart is only a dealer to MMM. Just come to any EON Automart
showroom. U can test drive the car without place a booking or commit
purchase whatsoever. Come to EON Glenmarie becoz they`re using the longer
route (plus minimal traffic).
