cuz motorcycles may come out in a sudden. There is a pasar malam every
Thursday night at Sungai Ular(not really far away). If going to Kemaman,
don't drive too fast as the saman is waiting. Night time need to watch out
for cows. Some Chinese restorants which sell Halal food available in
Kemaman town. Very delicious but don't expect cheap in price. Too early
for me cuz I'll be still in UUS.

Agreed with csl, swiss garden is better than legend. i can testify for
that as i stayed there for >5 months! was posted there for work in 2002.
swiss is spacious and has plenty of car parks. beach is ok. legend's beach
is better but a lil' far up. of course if can go to cherating club med
different story la.
i remember kemaman for one thing - hai peng coffee shop. good coffee!
as for food, there are plenty to go about, paksu is not far from swiss.
for good ikan bakar, can go all the way passed kuantan for rambo ikan
bakar! :)
uh? csl, you are in US now?

parking maybe a problem. It's right next to a shopping center, Kuantan
Megamall, so a lot of shoppers parked their cars at the hotel's car park.
Oh yeah, Hyatt is the grandest hotel in Kuantan. There's this .. rocky
place for a beach, I think it's called Teluk Cempedak. There's a drive in
McDonalds.

Hi all,
Good that the Chevy Club is organising a family outing.
Yeap if u guys choose Pahang - Cherating, Kuantan or anywhere.
May I suggest for these hotels:-
Holiday Villa Cherating - I can assist good choice
De Rhu Resort Pantai Balok Kuantan - good food and swimming pools esp for
kids
MS Garden in Kuantan - we can help out here for good rates, car park no
problem now.
Book early, thats school holiday.
Regards.
Unfortunately, I will b in Hong Kong by then, cant join u guys, but will
assist u in anyway i could
