At least in some countries, they have a good choice/alternative. But
here, if not vote for these fellows, then who to vote for? Some parties
are so miserably represented, missing from so many constituencies. And I
doubt the current 'alternative front' lead by those mooncake fellows can
do a better job. Believe me. It's between the devil and hell. Take your
pick.

so we are seeing more and more companies shift their operations north.
sigh... what to do? better start learning thai or mandarin if you want to
be employed.

i spoke to a fren not long ago. he works for an mnc manufacturer who's
been here for 20 years. he told me they have a new plant in thailand and
pretty soon it will be bigger than the malaysian one. they actually
prefer to be here as the labour is more skilled and english is more
widely used.

however, they "have no choice" but to set up in thailand as the business
environment is getting less conducive here.

i'm sure they're not the only company who's slowly packing up and leaving
the bare minimum here. so sad.

Again because of protecting crony parts and proton malaysia losers
more FDI and jobs....

Stupid isn't it. Just to protect about 20,000 ppl, a whole nation suffers!
